My husband and I visited multiple bike stores across the Seacoast 3 years ago in search of quality bicycles. We ended up purchasing from Dover Cyclery for several reasons.

The shop owners were highly knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to educate us on the nuances of cycling. I purchased a Fuji road bike and my husband bought a Fuji mountain bike. 3 years later we still LOVE our bikes! We take them everywhere on vacation and around town. This will be my third year riding my Fuji in the Cycle the Seacoast event. I always get my bike inspected and serviced here and can’t be happier with the quality of service, products and expertise.

What a great bike shop !!

My girlfriend and I dropped off a couple of old bikes that we had in storage for 8 years. The nice guy who helped us told us he could give both bikes a tune up and get them running like new again. We also each bought a new comfy padded seat and some new hand grips and peddles for my bike.

The bikes are cleaned up and running like new again !!

We were not buying new bikes but just getting our old ones fixed up, but they seem to have a great selection of new bikes and all the parts & accessories for bikes.
Not too much more I can say about a bike shop.

Friendly, helpful and they seem to know their stuff.

Judging by their reviews, I’m not the first to experience excellent customer service! I got curbside service as I was gathering my little ones out of the truck… I must have looked frazzled 🙂 it’s hard going anywhere with my little crew but that was an easy, fast, friendly stop to fix our stroller’s wheel. Now I know where I will bring my mountain bikes! Your efforts were much appreciated!

I stopped in with a problem with the shifting on my beach cruiser. They looked at it immediately and made some adjustments. Another bike shop told me nothing was wrong with it! I am thrilled that my bike now works correctly!

Got a flat while out for a ride in town… Really nice guys, not only did they squeeze me in to replace my rear tube, but they patient showed me how to do it myself and set me up with the gear to do so roadside.

Listening to them deal with customers they clearly are a low-pressure sales outfit. They have my business going forward.

I purchased a fat bike from them… More than happy with their willingness to go the extra mile to make me happy. The price was extremely competitive … I dealt with Mike: he is a great mechanic and just a super guy. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

This is the only place I will bring my bike to. Mike is the best!

Wayne and Mike are fantastic! We have purchased many items here as well as had our bikes worked on. These guys are very knowledgeable and honest. We needed assistance with an assembly right before Christmas and they got us right in on short notice and helped us out.

I would highly recommend this shop!

Brought my bike in for a tune up (specifically to clean up shifting). When I got my bike back the rear derailleur cable tension bolt was loose and during my ride the bike shifted to the highest gear and wouldn’t downshift. I brought it back and they immediately took the bike and fixed the issue in the 5 minutes – explained what happened and we’re super helpful and friendly during the whole process. The honesty and willingness to help was super refreshing and I will continue to bring my bike here for service! 5 stars!

I bought a bicycle from these guys about a month ago, and they were very helpful in helping me find a bicycle that best suited me at a reasonable price. Yesterday the valve in the bicycle’s tire completely gave out, and when I took the bike to get serviced, they resolved the issue free of charge.

I will continue to give this place my business as they’ve been very nice and helpful.

I took my daughter’s and wife’s bikes to Dover Cyclery for a new tire and tune up respectively. The guys at the shop were great to deal with.

They called me to tell me they noticed a crack in the frame of my daughter’s bike. I appreciated their thoroughness on this because I had only asked to have the tire replaced. They also did a good job tuning my wife’s bike.

These guys seem very connected to the community. They know a lot of riders in the area and were eager to tell me about trails in my new neighborhood.

Great group of guys that will take the time to talk and explain everything you may have questions about! Purchased 2 bikes here they have been awesome!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who care! Good prices, and quality work! They replaced my rims, re-taped my handlebars, and got me on the road in no time!

This is an awesome bike shop owned by a really nice guy who is passionate about biking, and a life-long biker himself.

The shop has all kinds of bikes for all different types of ppl/kids. They have all things related to biking! Biking accessories/equipment.

The shop is clean and really well organized. Its not just a place to purchases bikes, they also do bike repairs. I got here to get new tires put on my wheelchair!

This shop is super wheelchair ♿ accessible. Baby strollers, walkers, canes, etc. There is a curb btwn the parking lot and the store itself. But there is also an accessible dip that provides access to be able to get onto the sidewalk that’s in front of the store.

Parking is free and right out front. There are parking spots that are so close they are just feet from the entrance of the store.

Just got a bike from Dover Cyclery and so glad I chose them! I received amazing customer service and they are very knowledgeable. I had been to many other bike stores and I just felt like someone was trying to make a quick sale on me. They made sure the bike fit me perfectly and spent hours making sure I was comfortable and ready to go! Shop local and let Dover Cyclery show you what they’re all about!

Any bike and its owner can expect a friendly reception here. For small jobs like punctures, bent hangers etc, they will often do it on the spot.

Prices are reasonable and head honcho Mike seems to have a genuine love of bikes – he’s an enthusiast who rides road and trails. I was told by one of his competitors there’s little he doesn’t know about bikes.

Had our two bikes tuned up at Dover Cyclery and couldn’t be happier. Mike did a great job of getting our bikes back into riding shape, and the price was reasonable. I would recommend taking your bicycles there.

Customer service is excellent. The prices are competitive, especially given its size. Selection, although not vast, has the right selection from novice & bikes for pleasure to advanced & diehards. The owner is passionate about what he does and it shows in every transaction. The is definitely a 5-star business.

I avoided bringing my bike in for repair, despite its wear, but I finally had to. I was a little worried that they would give me a hard time for not getting it fixed before. Sometimes bike shops can be a little high and mighty. But, they could not have been nicer. The prices were great, turn around was fast and my bike was dialed in when I left.

Fast forward about 18 months to today…. my gears kept slipping and I stopped in here for some advice. They were really kind and welcoming, and unpretentious! So helpful, took my bike right in, made me feel welcome and were really understanding when I realized I had no money. They said, oh, you will be back and I definitely will. Without a doubt, even if I have to pay They were awesome and my bike is running beautifully.

Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and makes everyone from beginners to pros feel at home. He has built several bikes for me and is creative within your budget. If you are in the market for a new ride off the shelf, a custom build or need repairs… Dover Cyclery is a great place stop. You will be treated fairly, with respect… it’s clear Mike loves riding and lives to help others enjoy it too!

Best bike shop around! I originally stoped in because they carried Fuji bicycles, but I keep returning because of the customer service. They treat you like family, and not the ones you dread seeing during the holidays.

I rarely if ever feel the need to give reviews, but this place is an exception.

I have shown up twice in the past couple of weeks with some different issues. Mike diagnosed the problems almost instantly and had me up and running within 5 minutes. A convenient and reasonably priced spot that you shouldn’t hesitate reaching out to.

These guys are great! I stopped by while touring New England because my handlebar bag had a stripped bolt and was basically unusable. They found a way to fix it quick, and got me back on the road. It worked the rest of the trip, and they were far too generous with the labor charge. I’m not sure when I will ever be in Dover again, but I highly suggest these guys to all!

Mike did an amazing job packing our 3 bikes up for the move to Germany. There wasn’t a scratch on them and putting them back together was ridiculously easy.

My teenage son has brought a variety of bikes in for help. Mike explained what was wrong, fixed it in a timely manner, and were reasonably priced. There is not a hint of pretentiousness or judgement that you may get at other bike shops. If you want integrity, you will not be disappointed with Dover Cyclery.

I feel lucky to have talented bike mechanics within a few miles of home. No mechanical issue has been too vexing, and when you have a tandem, a triplet, and bike year round (including snow and salt) on a commuter bike—strange mechanical issues arise. Glad they are so adept—sensitive to price, and consistently give good advice.

Bought my kid a bike here 3 yrs ago. We’ve consistently brought it back to them for servicing. We’ve always been treated & charged fairly. These people are fantastic! Friendly & fair & informative.

These guys are amazing at what they do, and they really care. I can’t thank them enough for their help with my daughter’s new bike. They really took the time to research the best choice for her, as she has some limitations with bike riding. Because of the people at Dover Cyclery, she’s out there riding and enjoying it so much.

These guys offer amazing service and although they carry top of the line bikes and equipment they also understand the needs of the enthusiast and beginner.

The service they provide is next to none. Prompt, straightforward work that is always done right the first time. They have a customer for life.

Sales are low pressure and aimed at matching price points over upselling and blowing out someones bank account if they don’t want to. Don’t get me wrong, they will help you blow out your bank account I’d you would like.

I bought a Fuji Hybrid bike here and have had nothing but excellent after-sales service and support. I stop by often to buy accessories, the occasional tube and other needs for riding. Wayne and Mike are very professional, knowledgeable and more importantly, avid cyclists; always willing to answer questions, whether you’re a newbie or veteran cyclist. I hope to try one of their local rides come summertime.

Exceptional service! Mike was very knowledgeable and kind. He mailed me the needed part for my son’s bike and took the time in explaining how it should be attached.
